Arlene Solomons Visions Dinner presented by Jewish Long Beach Women's Philanthropy
Co-Chairs: Ami Guy & Danielle Van Divort
The 2023 Visions Dinner is our first in-person dinner since 2020. The pandemic prevented us from gathering, so this year, we celebrate by honoring all women in our community. Our special guest speaker is a best-selling author, Dashka Slater. An award-winning journalist who writes for publications like The New York Times Magazine and Mother Jones, is also the author of eleven books of fiction and non-fiction for children and adults. Her latest book, “The 57 Bus”, is a true-crime legal thriller. Ms. Slater was raised in an assimilated Jewish family and will discuss the importance of community, fitting in, and diversity.
Your Support is Vital
When you donate to Jewish Long Beach & Alpert JCC, you are changing lives. Your gift will provide support in three critical areas:
We encourage you to bring a donation of feminine hygiene products in support of the Dignity Project, which supports Long Beach Unified School District students in need!
The dinner provided is Kosher, and for any dietary questions, please email us at [email protected].
